Drums: Using Native American spirituality and practices to stretch the animal skins, these drums are mindfully hand crafted by my amazing friend and collaborator Christiana Acree. She also offers drum-making workshops in Chester County Pennsylvania in the warmer months if you would like to craft your own. If you decide to take this route I would still be overjoyed to paint your spirit animal for you when you’re done.
Spirit Animals: We all have many spirit animals that help us along our journey of life, but our top three are our spirit animal, totem animal, and shadow animal. Our spirit animal is our true nature, our totem animal is our protector and often gets mistaken for our spirit animal because it represents the masks we wear to protect ourselves in everyday life, and last but not least is our shadow animal which is often the animal we are most afraid of or repulsed by.
